Stage-I of GRAP was in place in the entire National Capital Region (NCR) since May 16. The AQI of Delhi has been recorded as 179 for May 18 (in 'Moderate' category).
The move comes amid rising public sentiment against Turkiye and Azerbaijan following their expressions of support for Pakistan after India's recent military operation, 'Operation Sindoor'.
He also said that the Operation Sindoor was conceptualised with a clear military aim to punish the perpetrators and planners of terror and to destroy their terror infrastructure.
