Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by just 4 runs in a high-scoring IPL 2025 thriller at Eden Gardens. Chasing a daunting target of 239, KKR’s late batting collapse saw them fall short, finishing at 234/7 in 20 overs. Despite strong 61-run innings from skipper Ajinkya Rahane and quick-fire contributions from Venkatesh Iyer (45) and Rinku Singh (38), KKR couldn’t get over the line.
